The Scheepvaartkwartier has quick connections to the national highway network A20, A16, A4 and A15 via the Maasboulevard, the Maastunnel traverse and the Erasmus Bridge.

Various tram and bus connections as well as Leuvehaven metro station are a short walk away. The boarding point of the water taxi and the Fastferry to Ridderkerk/Dordrecht is nearby.
